Kafi Pierre is a Toronto-born performer, choreographer, and creative producer whose most recent work includes serving as Artistic Associate for Jazz Island, a new commission for the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, directed by Maija Garcia (2025). She currently produces for TO Live Presents in Toronto and previously served as Creative Producer for Seasons 2 and 3 of Canada's Got Talent. She has also produced for Danceworks, the Luminato Festival, and the Reelworld Film Festival.
Kafi's performance career has spanned nearly three decades. A graduate of the Claude Watson Arts Program (Toronto) and The Alvin Ailey American Dance Center (New York City), her stage credits include The Lion King, Bombay Dreams, Cirque du Soleil's Delirium and Dralion, America's Got Talent, and Fela! The Musical. Her film and television credits span Good Morning America, CBC,NBC, Netflix, Brainpower Studio Hallmark, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Sony Pictures, MTV, BET, Nickelodeon, and ABC.
Kafi found her passion early, starring in the critically acclaimed Canadian children's program The Elephant Show with Sharon, Lois & Bram. Her young career continued to flourish with roles in CTV's The Ramona Series alongside Sarah Polley, and That Scattered Brain Booky at Young People's Theatre.
In 2015, Kafi accepted the role of Artistic Coordinator for The Han Show in Wuhan, China, working alongside director Franco Dragone to restage and choreograph the world-class production. In 2017, she directed and choreographed for Beaches Resorts & Spas' Entertainment division in Turks & Caicos and was recruited by Ron Kellum Entertainment as Associate Choreographer for the critically acclaimed Chicago production of Jesus Christ Superstar. After 12 years performing across Cirque du Soleil stages, she rejoined the company as Associate Artistic Director, touring North America for two years.

Her immense talent has led her to collaborate with an array of industry legends, including Jamie King (Michael Jackson's Immortal World Tour), Bill T. Jones (Spring Awakening), Luam Keflezgy (Empire), Andrew Lloyd Webber (Jesus Christ Superstar), Peter Berg (Chicago Hope), Millicent Shelton (30 Rock), and Mia Michaels (So You Think You Can Dance).

Kafi's demanding career as a globe trotting performer has kept her in peak physical condition for over two decades. The gym is Kafi's natural habitat, and over the years she has accumulated a wealth of knowledge about physiology, nutrition, best fitness practices, and overall wellness strategies.
Always a passionate leader, Kafi naturally gravitated toward a second career in fitness, and picked up a few certifications along the way. She was named a Master Fitness Trainer and brand ambassador for Nike and taught throughout the United States. Kafi achieved her Pilates Instruction certification in 2010, and has taught private and group classes ever since in the US, Canada, and China. She has also taught at high profile studios in New York City and Toronto, including Equinox, Crunch Fitness, and Core Fitness.
