Kafi Pierre’s performance career has spanned nearly two decades. Born in Toronto, Canada, she is a graduate of the Claude Watson Arts Program (Toronto) and The Alvin Ailey American Dance Center (New York City). Some of her performance credits include; “The Lion King”, “Bombay Dreams”, Cirque Du Soleil’s “Delirium” and “Dralion”, “America’s Got Talent” and “Fela! The Musical”. Her film and TV credits include; Good Morning America, CBC, Macy’s Day Parade, Sony Pictures, MTV, BET, Brain Power, Nickelodeon, ABC and NBC.

Kafi found her passion and true calling early, starring in the critically acclaimed Canadian children’s program “The Elephant Show” with Sharon, Lois, and Bram. Her young career continued to flourish when she was cast in CTV’s “The Ramona Series” with Sarah Polley, and “That Scattered Brain Booky” at Young People’s Theater.

Kafi’s immense talent has led her to work with an array of industry legends, including Mia Michaels (SYTYCD), Jamie King (MJ Immortal Tour), Bill T. Jones (Spring Awakening), Luam (Empire), Maija Garcia (CHIRAQ), Ron Kellum (Pro Bowl Halftime Show), Franco Dragone (Dragone Ent.) and Andrew Lloyd Webber (Jesus Christ Superstar).

In 2015, Kafi accepted the Artistic Coordinator role for the “The Han Show” in Wuhan, China, where she worked alongside famed director Franco Dragone to restage and choreograph the world-class production. In 2017, she directed and choreographed for the Beaches Resort and Spa’s Entertainment division in Turks & Caicos, and was recruited as the Associate Choreographer for the critically-acclaimed production of “Jesus Christ Superstar” in Chicago.
After 12 years of dancing across Cirque du Soleil stages, Kafi rejoined the company's Artistic Direction team, as Associate Artistic Director, touring North America for 2 years.
As a producer, Ms. Pierre has worked for Danceworks, Luminato Festival in Toronto, Reelworld Film Festival and is currently the Creative Producer for Season 2 of Canada's Got Talent.

KAFI PIERRE FITNESS
Kafi's demanding career as a globe trotting performer has kept her in peak physical condition for over two decades. The gym is Kafi's natural habitat, and over the years she has accumulated a wealth of knowledge about physiology, nutrition, best fitness practices, and overall wellness strategies.
Always a passionate leader, Kafi naturally gravitated toward a second career in fitness, and picked up a few certifications along the way. She was named a Master Fitness Trainer and brand ambassador for Nike and taught throughout the United States. Kafi achieved her Pilates Instruction certification in 2010, and has taught private and group classes ever since in the US, Canada, and China. She has also taught at high profile studios in New York City and Toronto, including Equinox, Crunch Fitness, and Core Fitness.
